Mail Coordinator - 2008 Calendar
Time About 6 hours right before or after Thanksgiving
Mail Coordinator will assemble and mail about 350 CD-case calendars, including matching labels to letters, putting materials in envelopes, and affixing postage.
Location Dave's house (San Jose) or own home

Mail Coordinator - Year End Newsletter
Time About 3 hours around November 15th
Project Coordinator will assemble and mail about 300 newsletters and giving statements, including matching labels to letters, putting materials in envelopes, and affixing postage.

Mailing List Developer
Time About 8 hours in Q2 2008
Project Mail List Developer will develop list of Christian churches by state, and determine appropriate contact names for future Theodyssey mailings.
Location Own home
Other Requires internet access. Experience with Foundations helpful.

 

Web Editor
Time About 5 hours each month
Project Web Editor will update existing website as needed, adding or removing pages, modifying links, and adding monthly email archives to the site, as needed.
Location Own home
Other Must have experience with Dreamweaver and web design

 

Event Planner - January Retreat
Time About 15 hours in January 2008
Project Event Planner will serve as liason between attendees and site coordinator at retreat location. This will involve registration of attendees, assistance with plannign activities, as well as identification and resolution of special needs.
Location Own home.
Other May require phone calls to (831) area code, and preparation of packets for attendees.

 

Event Planner - Spring Board Retreat
Time About 30 hours in January through April 2008
Project Event Planner will identify and sumarize requirements of potential retreat locations for Theodyssey Board Retreat, taking place in April 2008. Planner will serve as liason between attendees and site coordinator at retreat location. This will involve assistance with plannign activities, as well as identification and resolution of special needs.
Location Own home.
Other May require long distance phone calls and preparation of materials for attendees.

 

Internet Researcher
Time About 10 hours in January or February 2008
Project Researcher will identify and sumarize potential Christian blogs, message boards, and chat rooms where 20- to 40-something Christians meet online.
Location Own home.
Other Requires internet access.

 

Videographer / Cameraman
Time About 8 hours in Q1 2008
Project Videographer / Cameraman will film segments of Theodyssey leaders and potentially past and current participants. Footage must then be converted to media format for editing.
Location Own home.
Other Requires camera, and other media tools relevant to project.

 

Video Editor
Time About 20 hours in Q1 2008
Project Video Editor will edit film segments of Theodyssey leaders and potentially past and current participants. Completed media project must then be converted to master DVD, and include menu features.
Location Own home
Other Requires media editing software and other relevant media tools.

 

Financial Development Researcher
Time About 15 hours in Q1 2008
Project Financial Development Researcher will identify and report on Foundations specifically interested in Christianity, Spiritual Development, and/or the emerging generations.

Other Requires internet access. Experience with Foundations helpful.
