We connect with God uniquely within different seasons. We invite you to try something new.
Whether it is helping you as you go through the Theodyssey journey, or providing a fresh breath and encouragement in the lifelong endeavor of being transformed into God’s image, we want to provide a variety of resources that we trust. Some of these resources tap into parts of our tradition that are often forgotten and may feel uncomfortable, but are rich. If you have any questions on the resources below, or are looking for something specific, please let us know.
DAILY READING AND REFLECTION
There are a lot of great resources for your “daily devotionals”. Here are a few that may stretch you into a new way of connecting with God, help with the posture of listening, or meet you in your current schedule.
The service of Compline occurs every Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. in Seattle’s St. Mark’s Cathedral. The darkened cathedral draws hundreds of listeners to individual meditation through the rich, a capella choral music filling the sacred space. Compline, or Prayers at the End of the Day, is the final church service (or office) of the day in the Christian tradition of canonical hours.
3D SACRED SPACE
Each link below allows you to visually enter into one of the most beautiful places of worship in the world. Light a candle, open the Scriptures and spend some time reading, praying and reflecting as you imagine yourself in a beautiful place.
STUDYING THE BIBLE
Understanding the context and history of Scripture is a vital complement to hearing God speak to you through His word. There are so many online resources now, but we wanted to share a few that we find incredibly helpful. Spend some time searching around the site to see what resources they provide.
OTHER SPIRITUAL FORMATION RESOURCES
Our top priority is for you to connect with Jesus, not with Theodyssey. Below are some other ministries we trust that provide retreats, books, and other resources for your journey.
ACADEMIC AUDIO COURSES
If you are looking to learn more about the history and broader scope of Scripture, but do not have the time or finances for seminary, here are some helpful courses you can take to whet the appetite.
